My husband and I had our first boat trip together as a married couple and it was wonderful 😄. The 50-minute journey was accompanied by language. The speaker, in German and English, gave some historical background during the drive to the individual sights we passed. The service and staff was impeccable. The captain is very nice. Highly recommended 👍🏻.

A shipping company with several different ships. The well-known whirlpool tour and Walhalla ride, as well as rides on the wooden ship Siebnerin and various themed rides are offered. Unfortunately, the trips to Kelheim and Weltenburg will not be available until mid-June. You can get the tickets by phone or buy them on site. It's very backwards these days. Elsewhere you can book the tickets online with a QR code, some even have an app for this. Would save paper and untie the knot in front of the ticket booth at the port. Although I have to say here that the ticket sellers on site are usually super nice and friendly 👍. The range of different trips is quite good. If you look at the website you can get an overview. Unfortunately, the theme rides are not really described there and prices are not displayed either. Apart from the fact that the website often gets stuck and is rather confusing, all reduced prices are missing here. There is still a lot of catching up to do. Many like to book online from home, they google, read and buy.... We have tried the strudel ride and the Walhalla ride a couple of times and think they're nice. The ship was clean, the service tried hard. I think here, as everywhere, it depends on the lack of staff. It's a pity if you only get something to drink after 30 minutes with a journey time of almost 50 minutes, especially in summer. But they were friendly, I have to say that positively👍 The information on culture and history was off tape and very informative. Unfortunately, it can only really be understood in the vicinity of the loudspeakers. During the Valhalla trip there was rather less information. A pity. I know not everyone wants to hear that, but you could solve that with an audio guide 😉 It's a pity that the city of Regensburg can't manage to make the bank on the inner city side, after the Niebelungen Bridge, look good. It always looks like a garbage dump. Of course, this leaves a bitter aftertaste when driving past. But the shipping companies cannot do anything about that. The drive towards Walhalla is very beautiful in terms of landscape. Lots of green, just relaxing. I can warmly recommend that. I will definitely try a few more rides in the hope that one or the other will improve.

We went twice in September, once to Weltenburg and once on the Gloria with the Waltons. The contact was very good, the service on the ships was almost outstanding. Friendly, helpful and quick. Food and drink were good. Everything was well organized. One trip had to be canceled because of the low water level and that was also handled in a friendly and courteous manner with the alternative date. I can really recommend Klinger Schifffahrt.
